Lessons

All instrumental lessons include aspects of the following: Playing solo's, duets and group performances from various musical styles. Technical studies. Exam preparation for The Associated Board, Trinity Guildhall and London College of Music. Aural tests and ear training. Sight reading, scales and arpeggios. Concert preparation. Music theory and music composition.

Practice

A minimum practice schedule of 10 minutes per day is expected for a beginner and should be increased as the student progresses to a new level of musical proficiency. Students will be encouraged to participate in programs designed to further these goals, such as recitals both in and out of school and are offered for the benefit of all students. Parents are asked to assist by providing a home environment conducive to good learning habits.
